Each of the men in the group touched a different part of the elephant like the legs, the trunk and the ears. Their descriptions were, limited by the part of the elephant they were touching. We start with this parable because in many ways, it adequately describes our relationship with food and the sense of “Yummy.” Some of us value certain flavours, while some of us just treasure the experience of the people we dine with.
